This is my daughter’s last week at Wilderness Camp. I’m looking forward to having more time for cooking next week.
Breakfast: Smoothie, doughnut or bagel
Lunch: Ham sandwich, snowpeas, banana, Capri Sun
Supper Choices:
1) BBQs, chips, macaroni salad
2) Spaetzle, minute steaks and frozen veggies on-hand
3) Chicken drumsticks, macaroni salad and celery
4) Spaghetti Pie, garlic bread
5) Eat out
6) Eat out
7) Leftovers

What is spaetzle? And…macaroni salad sounds yummy. I think I am going to try making it for the first time in the near future.

Spaetzle is like a pasta or dumpling. It’s fun to make because you squish the dough through a colander. It gets my daughter in the kitchen helping out.

Yum, do you make the Spaetzle yourself? I have had it but not made myself it is so good.

We used to eat out often. Then I decided to be much more calorie conscious. I actually miss eating out.

We’ve been traveling a lot on the weekends lately so eating out is the quick and easy option. We use to eat out 4-5 times a week, but then stopped altogether. Now I try to keep it down to two times a week, if at all.
