Menu Plan Monday – April 26, 2010

I’ve officially been working for 3 weeks now. It’s so nice to be back on a schedule! Since my daughter is in Washington DC on an educational trip, I’m going to try to use up some of what we have on hand so next week I can go on my first official grocery run since mid-January.
It’s been over two months since my grocery list consisted of more than just milk, eggs, bread and whatever the cheapest meat of the week is. I’m so excited for Wednesday’s grocery flyers to come out so I can plan some good meals for next week.

I’m going to get out the smoothie maker and experiment with some different flavored yogurts and frozen fruit. I’ll post recipes for any that work out 🙂

Monday
Breakfast: Smoothie, 2 Ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches
Lunch: Famous Daves with co-workers
Supper: Leftover Chinese – Beef with broccoli and veggie lo mein

Tuesday
Breakfast: Smoothie, 2 Ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches
Lunch: Leftover Chinese – General’s chicken and veggie lo mein
Supper: Pasta with polish sausage with some kind of sauce and veggies (not quite sure of the recipe yet, but I’ll post it if it turns out)

Wednesday

Lunch: Leftovers from Tuesday night
Supper: Orange Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn

Thursday
Breakfast: Smoothie, 2 Ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches

Friday
Breakfast: Friday is ‘Breakfast Day’ at work. Every week two different co-workers bring in something to share.
Lunch: Leftovers (if there are some left), otherwise a couple items off of Arby’s value menu
Supper: HyVee usually has a coupon for a family meal, so I’ll wait to see what they’re offering this week.

Supper: Sirloin sizzlers, mashed potatoes, green beans with cheese

Sunday
